Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa! I want to cover all the holidays. :-)
I'm as ready as I'm going to get for Christmas. How about you?
We all have people who pop in last minute. It's the holidays; it happens. Something I like to do for last minute drop-ins are faux turtles. Yummy, fast and EASY!!
Poor Man's Turtles
1 13 oz bag of Rolos
60 tiny pretzel twists
60 pecan halves
Place pretzels on a parchment or foil lined cookie sheet. Place 1 Rolo on top of each pretzel. Bake at 325 for about 4 minutes or until chocolate gets shiny. Remove from oven and gently press one pecan half onto each treat. Cool for 10 minutes then place sheet in refrigerator to set.
What's cooking in your kitchen?
