Wrapping Presents

Here's a little admission... I'm really picky about wrapping presents. 

I love, love, love wrapping presents and want it done right.  With crisp edges, bows and a matching gift tag. 

My presents come out like this:



Because of that... I haven't had a "surprise" on Christmas for years.  Seriously.  I wrap my own gifts from other people.  It starts innocent enough.  "I need help wrapping a few things" my mom will say; which then turns into her entire closet of gifts and I know exactly what I'm getting.

But, I suppose it's better than getting something that looks like this, right?

    I remember being younger and I would wrap my brothers gifts to everyone, including me. Only, he would wrap tons of tape around it so I couldn't tell what it was.

    I wrap my gifts from my husband :-) but, I don't know what they are...only where they come from :-) so far it's goodies from Victoria Secret and Old Navy-lol.

    You sound just like me! I spend literally hours wrapping all of our gifts - coordinating papers, tissue paper, handmade ribbons, glittery tags. It's quite a process. And when we lived closer to home, my mom saved up all her presents for me to wrap when I got there before Christmas - including my own!

    I love beautifully wrapped gifts - makes the anticipation that much more delicious! Sadly, my wrapping has become increasingly lame over time. I used to be great at wrapping presents, then one day one of Santa's elves kidnapped me and stole my wrapping talent. That's my story, anyway.

    I love wrapping too. I've been known to get paid by some friends and even strangers to help them out. :)
